ELIGIBILITY AND RULES

All submissions to the Chevron Rapid Engagement Challenge: Break Rocks Better must be non-confidential and non-proprietary in nature. Any submissions containing confidential or proprietary information may be deemed ineligible for consideration.

All respondents must be able to work with Chevron to develop the concept through TRL 3 in order to be eligible to participate in this Challenge. Organizations that are unable to accept funding should not submit a response. Please consult your organization prior to submitting a response to determine organizational eligibility. Questions related to the nature, format, and obligations of funding will be determined in direct discussions between Chevron and respondents identified as winners.

All submissions for the Challenge must be submitted online prior to the official submission deadline: May 19, 2026 by 8 pm Eastern. Late submissions will not be accepted. Individuals from countries currently under embargo or other sanctions by the United States federal government are likewise ineligible to participate in this Challenge, either as a solo respondent or as part of a team.
